July 28th, 2010 | by admin |

This is part 2 of 2 showing a home around the corner from the Appropriate Rural Technology Institute (ARTI) in Pune, India, that uses biogas from kitchen scraps to cook with and an innovative wood burning stove that supplies 240 liters of hot bathing water from 1 kg of wood. Dr. Anand Karve, the innovator of the biogas systems, and his colleagues and staff at ARTI were kind enough to show me around and explain the marvelous simple climate solutions that India is generating while alleviating poverty at the same time.
